lyrics
Verse 1
I think about you all the time, it's like you've got a hold of my…
Heart, affection, lose, connection
Say goodbye, cause I don't think that I…
Can, perfection, need, protection
If I hold too tight, you better put me right
My, reflection, lose, connection
Oh just tell me why
Chorus
Even though I'm with you all the time
Everything I do, yeah you're always on my mind
In every part of me
Oh just tell me it will be alright
Na na na na na
Verse 2
Thinking 'bout another life, I think about you day and night
Right, direction, no, objection
I'm a little shy, but in time I will arrive
Learning, lessons, speak, confessions
If I don't know why, I find it hard to classify
Stolen, moments, owed, emotions
It'll be alright
(Chorus)
I'm feeling like I'm running, like I'm running from my other
Thinking maybe we could make some time to build
I've been looking for a story, looking for someone who can set me
Thinking maybe we could make our story real
(Chorus)

Singer, songwriter & iconic guitarist Rosie Frater-Taylor returns with a genre-bending, guitar-led 3rd album
'Featherweight', "a gnarly rock foundation heightened by nuanced jazz chords. Astonishingly mature album for one so young" (MOJO). Already catching the ears of key tastemakers ("an artist I've fallen in love with" Gilles Peterson), Frater-Taylor will embark on a U.K. tour in Feb 2024...more

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
